About the Role Working across Monarto Safari Resort, including the new Safari Lodge, the Corporate & Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for achieving catering sales targets and driving group and transient room revenue. The role will proactively source new business, identify opportunities to fill soft periods, and develop key market segments including corporate, MICE, weddings, leisure and wholesale. The Corporate & Leisure Sales Manager will build strong client relationships while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional guest experiences and commercial outcomes. Your days included but not limited to: Achieve catering, group and room revenue targets in line with business objectives. Proactively source new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, wholesale, weddings and leisure segments. Develop and implement strategies to drive catering and events revenue through multi-channel sales activity. Drive corporate and leisure sales growth through account management, lead generation and contract negotiation. Nurture and maintain existing client relationships to ensure repeat business. Manage group business from initial prospect through to confirmation, including invoicing and receipt of first deposit. Prepare weekly and monthly activity and production reports. This role is a hybrid position with 2 days a week at Monarto Safari Resort, 2 days a week at Journey Beyond Head Office (Adelaide CBD) with opportunity to work remotely on Fridays. Further travel to Monarto Safari Resort may be required, dependent on groups / clients visiting hotel. About You To be successful in this role you will be passionate and proud of the food and service you deliver, and are willing to go above and beyond for our guests. Successful candidates must have: Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry (minimum of 2 years) Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field (desirable). Experience with iVvy and/or Newbook (advantageous). Strong sales skills with a customer-focused approach. Excellent presentation, persuasion and communication abilities Demonstrated ability to manage challenges and resolve issues calmly and professionally. Valid drivers license essential, along with reliable mode of transport between sites.
